8 Zeichnungen by Jakob Lena Knebl at the Georg Kargl BOX is the artist's third solo exhibition at the gallery. 

After presenting large-scale immersive installations, together with Ashley Hans Scheirl, in the Austrian Pavillion at the Venice Biennale in 2022 and in their current exhibition Doppelganger! at Palais de Tokyo on view until January 5, 2024, in her exhibition 8 Zeichnungen, Jakob Lena Knebl, concentrates exclusively on the medium of drawing.Her first exhibition at Georg Kargl PERMANENT in 2018 already featured a series of oil stick drawings that stood out for their lightness and immediacy. Closely interwoven with her sculptures and installations, her graphic work finds its own quality in Knebl's diverse oeuvre.
