Windfang

A flat plinth made of rag rugs on the floor, watercolours as slides and their translations into originals on the wall. Wokurka renders these watercolours in a persistently casual manner, thus creating the visualization of a quasi-algorithm that appears incalculable from an outside perspective. A slideshow that through its surprising and its redundant moments both rewards and frustrates our viewing habits and expectations regarding pictures.
