Nach meiner Reise in Italien.
Diese "Krise” hat eine Quelle: kein Glaube in Kunst.
Das Problem ist Oekologie. Es gibt keine Bewegung nach 50 Jahre von Initiativen der Avant-Garde. Ohne Bewegung. Auch, ohne Aufbau. Es gibt nur Kommentar und Erinnerung. Kein Fortschritt.
z.B.: ein Vorschlag von 1995 fuer Documenta 1997: ueber Vogelfluglinien zwischen Afrika und Arktis (diese Ausstellung, 25 Jahre verspaetet) (und seit dann, 75% der Insekten sind verschwunden)
z.B.: Vernichtung von Firmen fuer Earth Art Aufbau, ueberall in der Welt, von Michael Heizer und Walter De Maria, in 1968, vor ueber 50 Jahren.
z.B.: Aufbau von diesen Modellen in Iran, unter dem Schah, bestellt in 1978, vernichtet mit Ende des “Konsortium”, ‘organisiert’ vom See Eye Yay in 1953, aber, mit einem 25 Jahre Vertrag…. so, kein Aufbau nach ueber 40 Jahre

Peter Fend focuses on questions of economic development and what is necessary to solve global problems in terms of air pollution, water shortage, soil and mineral exploitation for more than forty years. In order to respond to local and global impacts it became quickly apparent to him that art is the starting point to develop solutions.
In 1980 Fend founded the “Ocean Earth Construction and Development Corporation”, to react to the complexity in the context of ecological, social, political, and cultural action contribution. To predict long-term climate change he re-organized geographical information by ocean basins territories. His work asks relevant questions and suggests averting the inevitable by art-sourced projects and technological innovation based on ideas from the Renaissance, the 20th century early avant-garde or Land-Art by involving experts from various fields, communities as well as policy makers.
Peter Fend works on the architecture of the 21st century and the responsibility "for a world that works" - a world of socially fair energy supply without mono-political conflicts and distribution wars.This world should not be organized according to nations, but according to new energy sources and new energy distribution systems. Fend’s work establishes a new subjectivity for global questions that sometimes subverts the configuration of power.
